Oliver Samonte,
nicknamed Dr. Recyle by his friends from the Douglas
College, enjoys working with kids . He has also
presented at various conventions of educators
and activity coordinators. |

Growing
up poor in the Philippines, Oliver learned
early the art of creative recycling. Aspiring
to finish his engineering course when he
immigrated to Canada in 1991, he ended up
working as a caregiver rehabilitating head
injured patients. Oliver's natural gift
with children and his training at a Bible
College makes him a very effective presenter.
He has written two books on recycling crafts,
and invented a board game that could help
kids think of simple ways to help the environment.
